The use of Third singular person

1.      When you have a verb that ends in sh,ch,o,x, you add es:

Watch – Watches
Brush – Brushes
Fix – Fixes                   Third singular person (he, she, it)
Go – Goes
Wash -- Washes

EXAMPLES:

2.      When you have a verb that ends in y you change the y by ies:

6D past continuous and past simple

Use the past continuous and the past simple together to describe two things that happen at the same time in the past.

Use when to join actions in the past continuous and past simple.
